Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience developing Microsoft Dynamics NAV (NAV 2016), including upgrading custom solutions and migrating from C/AL to AL.
- Strong technical expertise in C/SIDE, C/AL, and AL programming.
- Proficient in creating custom functionality using AL extensions.
- Skilled in translating functional requirements into clear technical specifications and solutions.
- Strong documentation skills for technical requirements and custom development specs.
- Familiar with Microsoft SQL Server, XML, APIs, and other OOP languages (e.g., C#, Java).
- Experienced with DevOps, GitHub, and automated testing tools.
- Knowledge of ISO9001 and ISO27001 standards and integrated management systems.
- Consultancy experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV/BC implementations.
- Familiar with third-party NAV/BC tools such as Tasklet Mobile WMS, Continia, and Zetadocs.
- Confidence in team collaboration.
- Commercially aware with a strong understanding of business needs.
- Holds a degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
Responsibilities
- Support and develop our C/AL application by addressing development-related support tickets and collaborating with stakeholders to clarify specifications and ensure smooth handovers.
- Shape smart solutions for new healthcare-focused projects by utilizing a deep understanding of our systems and architecture.
- Engage throughout the full development lifecycle, writing clean code, producing solid technical documentation, estimating effort for planning and quoting, and ensuring quality through peer reviews.
- Uphold Microsoft and Ingenica coding standards in both in-house and third-party work.
- Support the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Business Central, managing the end-to-end preparation and release of software updates.
- Participate in upgrades of Microsoft Dynamics solutions from NAV to the latest Business Central versions.
