We are looking for a Data Scientist/Statistician with at least a 2:1 Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. If you are applying with a predicted grade, please note that any job offer will be subject to achieving this grade. You should possess broad knowledge of statistical/mathematical techniques, be competent with Microsoft packages including Excel, and have strong analytical skills that allow you to interpret and present complex data. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to convey technical data findings clearly.

Responsibilities

As a Data Scientist/Statistician on our team, you will provide statistical expertise across our work, gaining in-depth knowledge of methodologies used in media measurement services such as Barb, RAJAR, and TouchPoints. You will develop complex methodologies to deliver cross-platform measurement solutions and contribute to projects like CFlight. Running data fusion processes to support comprehensive audience insights will be key, particularly for projects like TouchPoints. You will also evaluate third-party methodologies through rigorous audits to ensure the integrity and reliability of data sources and analytical approaches. Utilizing your programming skills in PL/SQL, R, and Python to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets effectively will be vital, and you will communicate technical methodologies and insights clearly through written reports and presentations.

We are an enthusiastic team at RSMB, based in Central London, specializing in media measurement solutions. Collaborating with clients such as Barb and RAJAR, we help them understand, plan, and measure consumer behaviour across various media platforms. Our team operates in a hybrid working environment and is involved in some of the UK's most interesting media measurement projects. We offer a competitive salary starting at £28,000 per annum, rising to £35,000 with relevant postgraduate experience, along with benefits including a pension scheme, 25 days holiday per annum (increasing to 30), private medical insurance, and a season ticket loan.
