Requirements
Must:
We are seeking a candidate with experience in BigCommerce, including API use (REST/GraphQL), general API experience, and knowledge of authentication mechanisms. Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, PHP, or Python is essential. A strong understanding of object-oriented and functional programming, version control (Git), and the ability to work with legacy outputs (e.g., CSV) for data transformation is necessary. Experience with relational database management systems (RDBMS) and Linux command line interface (CLI) is also required. Desirable skills include familiarity with Stencil and Handlebars, Google Analytics, Google Ads/Merchant Center, GCP/AWS environments, Klevu, and knowledge of markup and styling languages, templating systems, and JavaScript libraries/frameworks. Experience with Docker is a plus.
Responsibilities
As part of our team, I will develop new user-facing features, build reusable code and libraries for future use, and ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs. I will optimize applications for speed and scalability, collaborate with team members and stakeholders, and evaluate requirements, specifications, and code. I will also be involved in system configuration, data export, code review, initial QA of peer work, and investigation and bug fixing.

This role involves ongoing maintenance tasks, bug fixing, and developing enhancements to improve customer experience. You will be collaborating with our design team to specify new or improved features and designs while working with BigCommerce and third-party APIs, coordinating with our ERP team and suppliers.
