Must:
I am looking for candidates with proven experience as an AV Installation Engineer within corporate environments. You should possess strong technical knowledge of AV equipment and platforms such as Crestron, Extron, Biamp, Logitech, and Microsoft Teams Rooms. It is essential that you have the ability to work independently and deliver high-quality installations. Additionally, you should have a full set of tools and PPE, and while ECS/CSCS certification is preferred, it is not mandatory. A full UK driving licence and your own transport would be desirable but not essential, depending on the site. We need someone who is available for an immediate or short-notice start.
Responsibilities
As a Freelance AV Install Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of AV equipment, including displays, video walls, audio systems, conferencing solutions (such as Zoom and Teams), and control systems. You will handle first and second fix cabling and hardware installation, rack building, cable management, and terminations. Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics will be a key part of your role, as well as testing, troubleshooting, and ensuring the functionality of all installed systems. You will also be expected to liaise professionally with clients on-site to ensure smooth delivery of projects.

This position offers consistent work on a day-rate basis, where you will be part of a team that delivers high-end, reliable AV solutions to major businesses, meeting rooms, boardrooms, and collaborative workspaces. The pay ranges from £200.00 to £250.00 per day, depending on your experience.
