Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of experience with Java.
- 2+ years of experience with Python.
- Experience with Spring.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Experience with AWS.
- Experience with Perl (preferred).
- Experience supporting highly distributed systems in enterprise environments (preferred).
- Familiarity with CI/CD environments from a cloud perspective (e.g., EC2, S3) is a plus.
- A degree in Computer Science or relevant technology certificates are advantageous.
Responsibilities
- I will collaborate with existing scrum teams to support the legacy migration of services to a new platform.
- I will rewrite services using updated technologies, specifically Python and other relevant tools.
- I will align with three new legacy migration projects that are set to start in March.
- I will support highly distributed systems in enterprise environments.
- I am expected to adapt to team rotations to address skill gaps as needed.
Description
This role is fully remote and offers a dynamic work environment where team rotations are essential to meet skill requirements and maintain adaptability. Our teams will be working on the legacy migration projects while utilizing a core technical stack that includes Java, Python, Spring, SQL, and AWS. The daily rate for this position is £400.00.
