Must:
I am looking for candidates who have experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, and DevOps, specifically with Bicep and ARM templates. You should also be proficient in Azure Networking, including firewalls and DNS, and familiar with core Azure services such as Compute, Data, Integration, and Generative AI. Additionally, skills in scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python) are essential. Highly valued skills may include Azure Policy, Jenkins/GitLab, and relevant Azure Certifications (Az104 - Azure Administrator, Az701 - Network Administrator, Az500 - Security Engineer).
Responsibilities
In this role, I expect you to design, develop, and improve software utilizing various engineering methodologies that provide business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues. You will be accountable for the development and delivery of high-quality software solutions, ensuring code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance. Collaboration is key, and you will work with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements and devise solution strategies. You will also participate in code reviews to promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing. Staying informed of industry technology trends and contributing to our technology communities is crucial. Furthermore, you will adhere to secure coding practices, implement effective unit testing, and collaborate with other areas to mitigate risks and develop new policies.

This role is based in Knutsford, and as an Assistant Vice President, you will be expected to advise and influence decision-making, contribute to policy development, and take responsibility for operational effectiveness.
