Requirements
Must:
- ITIL Accreditation V4 Foundation equivalent or above
- Problem-solving skills
- Incident management experience
- ITSM toolset experience
- Risk management expertise
- Highly resilient with an aptitude to work well under pressure
- Ability to balance conflicting priorities
- Adaptability and the capacity to cope with ambiguity
- Proactive attitude with a strong sense of ownership
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operational activities for your aligned service(s)
- Act as a subject matter expert for your service(s), ensuring documentation, service catalogue/CMDB, and standards are accurate
- Foster collaborative and open engagement across your service(s)
- Participate in regular stand-ups and share information
- Manage lower severity incidents as required, collaborating with the Technical Operations Centre (TOC) to improve triage processes and runbooks
- Work with other analysts to proactively review incident trends, root causes, and address wider impacting issues by raising problems or risks
- Ensure governance and compliance with existing processes and regulatory requirements
- Consistently apply relevant processes for efficient handovers between ITIL functions such as incident, problem, and change tickets, ensuring ownership and updates throughout their lifecycle
- Contribute to retrospectives
- Build and run service management reporting for your aligned service(s), ensuring accuracy and timely availability
- Raise and manage risks associated with the service(s), ensuring clear ownership
