Requirements
Must:
- Experience with Chat-Ops, specifically using Slack for creating channels, coordinating resources, and engaging customers.
- Proven history of working in customer service, collaborating with customer service representatives and high-level engineers.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow, Confluence, and JIRA.
- Understanding of IP concepts, including subnetting and general networking knowledge.
- Basic experience with Active Directory and security tasks, such as password resets and guiding users through ticket creation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations, demonstrating proficiency in ChatOps through Slack and ensuring effective communication among team members and customers.
- Assist with user account management and perform basic security tasks, including password unlocks and directing users to appropriate SOPs or Runbooks for issue resolution.
- Ensure event management is handled efficiently using alert systems like BigPanda, taking ownership of alerts, and troubleshooting them with the aid of Runbooks and SOPs.
- Engage in weekend workdays, typically scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, with flexibility for days off during the week after 90 days.
Description
We are a globally known Gaming and Technology company offering a 6-12 month contract for this position, with a pay rate of £210 per day. The role is based in Liverpool with a hybrid working model, requiring two days on-site per week. We are looking for candidates with three to five years of relevant experience and a degree from a four-year college (BA or BS) is preferred.
