Must:
We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled ICT Technician who has experience providing ICT support in a professional or educational setting. You should have a strong understanding of hardware, software, and network systems, excellent organizational and prioritization skills, and the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure. While experience within a school or multi-site organization and familiarity with MIS or education-specific systems is desirable, it is not essential.
Responsibilities
As our ICT Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our ICT systems. Your responsibilities will include providing first-line ICT support to staff and students, maintaining and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network systems, managing support tickets via the Helpdesk, and assisting with the setup and maintenance of ICT suites, devices, and peripherals. Additionally, you will support the testing, commissioning, and repair of ICT and AV equipment, maintain accurate software and hardware inventories, evaluate and implement new software and systems, and ensure compliance with GDPR, Health & Safety, and safeguarding policies.
Description
This is an urgent role with an immediate start date, and you will be working full-time for 37 hours per week across multiple academy sites in the North East. The salary ranges from £26,835 to £27,711 (Grade 4, SCP 10-12), and the role typically runs all year round, Monday to Friday.
