Requirements
Must:
- British national with SC Clearance
- Valid CSCS or ECS card
- CCNP Certification
- Strong background in Network Engineering
- Experience in a hands-on environment
- Design, Build, and Test experience in network design through to commissioning
- Proficiency with Cisco Networking Kit: Catalyst, ISE, DNA Centre
- Knowledge of network segmentations, 802.1x, and NAC
- Ability to deliver secure networking solutions in a sensitive environment
- Comfortable in a customer-facing environment
- Capable of producing strong, accurate, and clear documentation
Responsibilities
As the Network Engineer, I will need you to join our client for a 6-month initial contract. It is crucial for you to be involved in a network refresh project that includes an end-to-end enterprise network deployment at a commercial site. You will be working primarily with the Cisco-based stack and will be expected to leverage your skills with the Catalyst series, ISE, and DNA Centre. Your role will also demand a strong understanding of network security and operating within a secure environment on-site.
Description
We are collaborating with a growing business that provides project-based services to their customer base. This role offers a competitive rate of £350 to £400 per day (plus expenses) and is classified as outside IR35. The position is based in Lancashire, but flexibility for other locations in the UK is required. Due to the nature of this work, it is imperative that you meet the specified security conditions and qualifications to be considered for this role.
