Must:
We are looking for candidates who possess exceptional knowledge of information rights legislation, including FOI and data protection laws (DPA/GDPR). A practitioner certificate in data protection and information rights is essential. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data privacy laws and regulations, along with exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills. Additionally, the ability to interpret and apply official guidance and case law to inform decisions on cases is crucial. It would be advantageous if you have experience working within Central Government and can thrive in a demanding environment while adapting to changing priorities. Candidates must be SC or DV cleared, or eligible to undertake SC or DV Security Clearance.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will provide expert advice and support on complex information rights cases, including Freedom of Information (FOI) and data protection matters. You will also lead high-level internal reviews and respond to complaints from the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). This position requires you to work in a Security Cleared environment and necessitates a minimum of three days of onsite work per week at our client’s location near Milton Keynes.
Description
This is a six-month contract position, offering a competitive daily rate of £490, outside of IR35. We encourage applicants who are willing to engage in hybrid working arrangements. The role is commutable from locations such as Northampton, East Midlands, Bedford, Luton, or Central London. We look forward to your application and the possibility of you joining our team.
