Requirements
Must:
We are looking for individuals with proven abilities in systems engineering within the aerospace or flight simulation industry. You should have experience managing requirements and system design for complex, real-time systems. Knowledge of systems engineering tools such as IBM DOORS, Cameo Systems Modeler, and MATLAB/Simulink is essential. Familiarity with aerospace standards like DO-178C, DO-254, and ARP4754A is highly desirable. Experience with flight simulation systems such as Full Flight Simulators (FFS) and Flight Training Devices (FTD) will be an advantage. Certification or training in INCOSE Systems Engineering practices, as well as exposure to agile or hybrid development methodologies, would also be beneficial.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead the integration of subsystems (hardware and software) into cohesive flight simulation systems. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement integration procedures, ensuring all subsystems function together as intended. Defining and executing test plans will be a key part of your responsibilities, where you will ensure system performance meets regulatory standards and safety metrics required for certification. Additionally, you will act as the primary contact for customers during the acceptance phase, addressing their concerns and ensuring system specifications are met. You will also document and resolve any system issues identified during testing or by customer feedback.
