Requirements
Must:
- I have strong QA testing experience on complex backend systems, both manual and automation.
- I possess strong API testing experience, ideally with Postman.
- I have experience providing technical leadership for test automation.
- I have a good understanding of C# with basic coding skills and experience testing backend systems.
- I have experience working in an Agile team environment, collaborating with software engineers.
- I have great communication skills and am happy to mentor others.
Responsibilities
As a Lead Test Engineer, I will take a lead role in test strategy for the team. I will be responsible for designing, creating, and maintaining automated and some manual test suites to ensure the release of high-quality software. I will provide mentoring to junior QA Engineers, set the test direction, and contribute to Agile ceremonies while working in 2-week Sprints. My collaboration with software engineers will guide and influence them to achieve increased levels of quality and testing best practices.
Description
I am offering a competitive salary package of up to £65k, along with 25 days of holiday, Vitality health insurance, a 5% non-contributory pension, and death in service benefits. I can work from home on a full-time basis but must be UK-based and willing to meet with colleagues once a quarter.
