Specialist in Information Technologies for Operational Tech

In this role, you will identify, categorize, diagnose, and resolve IT in OT-related problems at the industrial asset level. You will plan, install, and configure software and hardware while managing network equipment at the machine level and maintaining workstation accounts. Your responsibilities also include safeguarding passwords, ensuring file system security, and maintaining data integrity. You will manage, maintain, update, and upgrade systems, operating systems, and software with new releases, support new projects, and conduct data flow evaluations along with budget and time calculations. Building hardware and software documentation, managing licensing, and maintaining backup and restore procedures in accordance with policies will also be part of your job. You will provide IT in OT support to eliminate production deviations and engage with production users of industrial assets. Your operational link will involve collaboration with the Industrial Maintenance team and interactions with relevant digital product managers and support levels. You will also liaise with Original Equipment Manufacturers and software editors.
