Requirements
Must:
- BSc (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in providing 3rd Line Technical Support.
- Proven track record working in a busy MSP service desk environment within a structured, ITIL-driven framework, including Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
- Experience acting as the 'go-to' person during Major Incidents, including providing Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) and Reason For Outages (RFOs).
Responsibilities
As a 3rd Line Support Engineer, I will focus on resolving escalations, problems, and major incidents while delivering best-in-class service to all our customers. I will utilize my strong background in supporting Microsoft technologies, particularly Azure, across various domains including cloud services, modern workplace, endpoint management, and security. My role may occasionally involve visiting our London-based customers in person to address challenging troubleshooting cases, ensuring I act as the subject matter expert.
The service desk team operates from our modern office in London. During the probationary period, I will work in the office from Monday to Friday. After completing the probationary period, I will have the flexibility to adopt a hybrid working model, spending three days in the office and two days working from home.
Description
I will bring strong technical skills in Microsoft Azure (including Azure Site Recovery, Windows Virtual Desktop, and Endpoint Manager) as well as expertise in Azure Active Directory (Identity, MFA, Conditional Access). I will also have experience in administering and supporting various technology products, including Microsoft 365, Microsoft Active Directory (both on-premises), and Microsoft Exchange (on-premises and hybrid). My knowledge will extend to Always On VPN (AOVPN), Windows Server OS, Intune (Endpoint Management, MDM), and File System Technologies (permissions, storage). Additionally, I will manage Domain Services such as DNS, DHCP, and VPN. We are an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate on any grounds.
