Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a candidate with a strong manual testing background, with automation skills being a bonus. Experience in testing Windows and Database applications is essential. Familiarity with cloud technology, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and tools like NiFi, BigQuery, and Directed Acyclic Graphs (DAG) is highly desirable. A solid understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, specifically Scrum and Kanban, is required. You should also possess strong data testing skills, with knowledge of Qlik and mapping software testing considered a plus. Previous experience in the logistics, freight, or packaging industry is essential for this role.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will define acceptance criteria and test plans for user stories. You will analyze complex system requirements and interfaces, design and execute detailed test scripts across various platforms and environments, and support System Integration Testing (SIT) across multiple networks to ensure release quality. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with development teams to ensure testability and facilitate rapid defect resolution. Additionally, you will estimate testing effort and actively contribute to sprint planning.
Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Test Analyst to make a significant impact by working on high-impact logistics systems. You will collaborate closely with developers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders in a hybrid Agile/Waterfall environment. The position is based in London or Milton Keynes, requiring 2 days onsite per week. We offer a competitive day rate of up to £375 and are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
