Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates who have a good understanding of best practices in cybersecurity, project management, and strong planning and organizing skills. You should also have an understanding of procurement and supply chain tools and methodologies, as well as strong commercial and financial acumen. Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills are essential, along with a high level of computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools for analysis and communication purposes. A track record of success in project management and experience working in a complex international matrix environment is required. Awareness of incident management practices is desirable.
While not essential, one of the following qualifications is highly desirable:
- CISMP - Certificate In Information Security Management Principles
- CISM - Certified Information Security Manager
- ISO27001 Lead Auditor
- ISO27005 Certificated Security Risk Manager
- CSMP - Certified Security Management Professional
Additionally, an understanding or experience with UK MoD Defence Conditions would be beneficial.
Responsibilities
As part of our expanding BS&I Cyber Security team, you will act as the Cyber Security Officer responding to the needs of MBDA UK, MBDA Group, and customer requirements. You will report to the Procurement and Supply Chain Cyber Security Manager and be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with internal procurement and supply chain teams. Your key responsibilities will include conducting cyber risk assessments of external companies and managing the cyber risk that could impact Procurement & Supply Chain Management activities to ensure the availability and confidentiality of our products and services.
