Requirements
Must:
We require candidates to hold either a Cisco CCNP or CCIE certification. Additionally, you should have a Corvil CCA or Corvil CCE certification, as well as an Arista ACE Level 1-3 certification. A Bachelor's degree in Computing with a focus on networking or a Master's degree in Networking is essential. Experience with PTP/PPS platforms (Meinberg, FSMLabs, ADVA/Oscilloscope) is expected, alongside proficiency in using commercial network monitoring system (NMS) tools (e.g., Zabbix, Solarwinds, Nagios) and open-source tools (e.g., Prometheus, Alertmanager, Grafana). Basic programming skills in Python or GoLang are required, as well as familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Ansible or Terraform. You should also have experience with network analysis tools like Wireshark, Splunk, and PromQL, and possess a high level of troubleshooting experience.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will provide support and engineering within a low latency networking environment using Arista 7130, MetaMux, MetaWatch, and MultiAccess. I will collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve network issues and act as the 2nd to 4th line escalation point and Subject Matter Expert for network-related incidents. Additionally, I will liaise with vendors to resolve complex network problems and maintain and monitor Corvil Appliances and the Cisco 3548 Platform.
