Must:
We are looking for a Business Analyst who has at least 5 years of experience in a relevant role, ideally within the legal, finance, or IT-related sectors. You should have prior experience working on software development and application projects/programs. We value strong analytical thinking and the ability to translate complex ideas into clear documentation. A confident communicator, you should feel comfortable leading discussions and presenting to senior audiences. You must be able to manage multiple projects and priorities in a structured and flexible manner. We appreciate self-starters who take initiative and bring energy to their work. Familiarity with Agile or other project delivery methodologies is a plus, along with experience in business transformation or large-scale process changes. Exposure to working with third-party vendors or offshore development teams and stakeholder management experience with both business and technical subject matter experts (SMEs) is also essential.
Responsibilities
As our Business Analyst, you will report to the Software Development Programme Manager and will be integral in shaping and delivering real business change. You'll be responsible for defining project scope and benefits, contributing to business case development, and eliciting and managing functional and non-functional requirements. Your role also includes mapping current and future business processes, supporting business change initiatives and benefits realization, and ensuring requirements traceability. You will be involved in contributing to testing and facilitating user acceptance testing. Additionally, you will present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders. You will collaborate with Project Managers and Lead Business Analysts to determine the most effective analysis approach and take ownership of your workstreams to ensure successful outcomes.
Description
This is a hybrid role that requires you to be onsite in our Birmingham office. As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with internal stakeholders across the business from discovery through to delivery. Your efforts will directly impact our Software Development initiatives and application-based projects.
