Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as a Solutions Analyst with a strong understanding of functional and technical dependencies across propositions, teams, and platforms.
- Knowledge of card processing stages including Issuing, Authorization, and Settlement, along with an understanding of industry standards.
- Experience in producing Solution Proposals and reviewing designs produced by Engineering teams.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and the ability to work closely with engineering teams to deliver solutions.
- Working knowledge of Software Architecture, API, and microservice architecture.
- Proficiency in defining and documenting As-Is and Target Architecture, as well as defining services and integrated applications.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to influence a diverse set of stakeholders and colleagues.
- Excellent communication skills and an analytical mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with a flexible 'can do' attitude and a strong sense of initiative.
Responsibilities
- Review requirements and provide input to Business Analysts for capturing and scoping requirements.
- Participate in technical design and prepare solution proposals for the Cards work stream.
- Collaborate closely with the Cards Architect and other domain Architects to align card solutions with architectural frameworks.
- Act as the main point of contact for the cards solution, facilitating discussions with involved IT teams.
- Plan and create solution proposals, sequence diagrams, and maintain an interface tracker to ensure compliance with agreed architecture.
- Engage in business discussions alongside Business Analysts to clarify scope and explain solutions to the business.
- Lead the development team to ensure successful delivery of high-quality solutions while driving the adoption of best practices.
- Identify risks and issues, highlighting them to the Cards Programmer when necessary, and suggest mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with the engineering community to ensure solutions align with the strategies of the Bank, specifically in relation to Retail and Corporate Cards.
