Requirements
Must:
We are looking for Network Engineers with proven experience in Cisco technologies. You should possess:
- Experience with Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW) using Firepower Management Console (FMC), including daily configuration, administration, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Proficiency in Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for network security and policy management, working with authentication, authorization, policy enforcement, and daily troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst Center (DNA Center) for network automation and monitoring, involving daily configuration, administration, patching, upgrading, and network automation.
- A deep understanding of troubleshooting methodologies, along with hands-on experience using relevant industry-standard tools to efficiently diagnose, isolate, and resolve issues in network and security environments.
- High-level security clearance is preferred; candidates who have previously held such clearance are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
As a Network Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Daily management and optimization of Cisco technologies.
- Implementing security measures and managing policies using Cisco ISE.
- Automating network tasks and monitoring performance with Cisco DNA Center.
- Troubleshooting and resolving network issues effectively.
Description
This four-month hybrid contract, based in Leeds, offers a daily rate of £450 - £500 (Umbrella-PAYE). This role is part of a long-term program of work, providing an excellent opportunity for professional growth. Due to the urgency of this position, you will need to be security cleared prior to appointment, which may take a minimum of 10 weeks.
