Requirements
Must:
- Ability to write quality C code and develop automated unit test cases using Python/C.
- Understanding of Linux OS and open-source software development.
- Detailed experience in developing Network Components using C, including protocols such as BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, or EVPN.
- Experience in software development of data forwarding paths (both software and hardware).
- Knowledge of network merchant silicon chipsets and Whitebox platforms.
- Experience troubleshooting large-scale deployments.
- Familiarity with manageability frameworks such as Yang/XML.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as Intel DPDK and SR-IOV.
- Experience using Atlassian tool suite, Git, and Jenkins.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and good collaboration skills.
- Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal guidance.
- Strong communication skills and professional judgment for managing projects or resolving problems.
Responsibilities
- As a Senior Software Engineer, I will work on developing a Debian Linux Network Operating System (NOS) that supports customers in building and deploying their virtualized networks.
- I will collaborate with a team of 40 engineers to drive and direct the future architecture and implementation of network components within our new operating system product line.
- My role involves innovating and advancing our network technologies to enhance the responsiveness and agility of our services, impacting how customers access various digital interactions including phone services, video streaming, and messaging.
- I will contribute to the development of a telco-grade network services architecture that ensures high performance and scalability across different use cases.
