Must:
We are seeking individuals with proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining complex public cloud services, especially with a deep understanding of Microsoft cloud and DevOps technologies. You should have experience in one or more of the following: Azure PaaS, Azure IaaS, and Azure DevOps.
Proficiency with DevOps tools and practices is essential, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible). You should also have expertise in implementing and managing monitoring and logging solutions using technologies such as Log Analytics, Azure Monitor, and Defender for Cloud, or similar tooling provided by cloud platform vendors.
Strong experience in implementing and leading Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, is required to ensure efficient and effective project delivery. Responsibilities
In this role, you will drive project success and support a culture of excellence through leading sprint ceremonies, including planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives. You will ensure the team adheres to Agile principles, facilitating discussions to identify obstacles and promote continuous improvement.
You will design, build, and maintain public cloud infrastructure using a mix of IaaS and PaaS resources deployed via Infrastructure as Code (using Terraform) to deliver a secure, scalable cloud platform aligned with our Cloud Principles. Additionally, you will design, build, and maintain build and release pipelines using Azure DevOps in line with our CI/CD principles to ensure that deployment strategies for resources are repeatable, scalable, and highly available.
You will refine the DevOps culture across the engineering teams through continuous improvement and iteration of Software Development lifecycles to increase automation and reduce manual effort. Additionally, you will provide support to delivery teams in solving complex problems using your deep technical knowledge.
Description
We are excited to offer a salary of approximately £52,000 - £56,000, depending on your experience. You will benefit from 28 days of annual leave plus public bank holidays and enjoy a flexible working environment.
