Must:
As a potential candidate, I will be looking for individuals who have strong experience with PHP and the Laravel framework. I expect you to be skilled in developing front-end components using Vue.js and JavaScript, with a proficient understanding of MySQL, database design, and optimization. Familiarity with Git version control and GitHub workflows is essential. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly adapt to changing requirements are critical for success in this role. Please note that sponsorship will not be available for this position, so a valid right to work in the UK is required.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will have you developing features and enhancements for our e-commerce platform using Laravel and Vue.js. You will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing existing functionalities for performance, scalability, and reliability. Integrating APIs and third-party services, including marketing, payments, and logistics, will be part of your duties. I will also expect you to perform testing and participate in peer code reviews to ensure high-quality code. Identifying and resolving technical challenges independently and as part of a team will be important, as well as providing technical support on issues identified by the business.
