Requirements
Must:
- Experience in an MS Windows Environment.
- CCNA/CCNP Accreditation is preferred.
- Awareness of cyber threats and effective management techniques is essential.
- Proficiency with Cat6/fibre communication protocols.
- Experience with network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, LAN/WAN, and servers.
- Knowledge of Active Directory/MS Entra, including profiles, security groups, and group policy configuration.
- Familiarity with network security and preventative security measures.
- Experience managing web connectivity, email services, and security.
- Knowledge of failover protocols and asset management.
Responsibilities
- I will design and deploy the company's network services securely.
- I will monitor and administer installations, integrating network communications, including routers, switches, firewalls, DMZ, servers, telephony, and LAN/WAN.
- I will manage IP subnets, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and VoIP traffic.
- I will ensure network security and that failure protocols are in place.
- I will maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
- I will ensure balanced connectivity with a sufficient failover plan.
- I will engage in general activities such as administration, asset management, documentation, hardware builds and deployments, and technical support of hardware infrastructure.
- I will train end users in the safe use of IT infrastructure and update relevant technical documentation.
