Requirements

Must:
We are looking for a 3rd Line Engineer who is experienced in the following areas: - Configuration and setup of Windows Servers, Active Directory, DHCP, and DNS - Installing and configuring VMware ESXi and Hyper-V - Deploying and setting up server and network hardware, including firewalls and VLANs - Fantastic all-round IT knowledge - Setup and deployment of Wi-Fi access points - Office 365 migration and deployments - Posses an inquisitive mind and a desire to deliver excellent service and solutions for our customers - Valid UK driving license and own car (business mileage will be reimbursed)

Responsibilities

In this role, you will work weekdays from 09:00 to 18:00, engaging in a mix of project work and IT support. Your typical week may include tasks such as: - Building a server from the office - Installing the server and network switches at a hotel and documenting the process - Working on the support desk - Assisting a 2nd Line Engineer on a project - Conducting scheduled visits to hotels within a short driving distance Additionally, there will be an on-call element where you will join one of the two on-call rotas for critical issues that the 2nd Line team cannot resolve. You will be expected to offer guidance and solutions to 1st and 2nd Line engineers based in the office after hours and may need to visit sites occasionally.
