Must:
We are looking for a candidate with proven experience as a Project Manager in software development environments, including client-facing experience. You should have a strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and hands-on experience using Jira. A solid understanding of software development lifecycles and familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, SQL, or similar is essential. You must demonstrate excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Strong organisational and communication skills, along with attention to detail, are also required.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will be responsible for planning, managing, and delivering software projects from initiation through to completion. I will lead Agile ceremonies and maintain project visibility through Jira and other project management tools. I will collaborate closely with engineering, QA, product, and business teams to ensure that requirements are understood and delivered. Additionally, I will monitor project progress, identify risks and blockers, and proactively implement solutions. As a technical partner to the development team, I will possess the ability to understand software design, architecture, and coding challenges. I will also provide clear communication and reporting to senior stakeholders.
Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a Technical Project Manager to lead and deliver a variety of software development projects for our client in Belfast City Centre. The role is ideally suited for someone with a strong technical background who can effectively bridge the gap between engineering teams and business stakeholders. My commitment will be to drive project delivery, work directly with customers, ensure alignment with business goals, and maintain a hands-on understanding of the technical aspects of the work. We will operate in a hybrid model, requiring 23 days onsite per week.
