Solutions Developer - Bolton

We are looking for a candidate with at least 1 year of experience in a similar role within a fast-paced warehousing or logistics environment. You should possess proficiency in web development, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (React, Vue.js, or similar). Familiarity with Liquid templating, as used in BigCommerce themes, is essential. Additionally, you need to have knowledge of responsive design and accessibility standards. In terms of API development and integration, we require experience with RESTful API design and consumption, as well as familiarity with BigCommerce APIs, Pimberly APIs, and third-party integrations (e.g., ERP, CRM, payment gateways). Experience with OAuth2, token-based authentication, and webhooks is also important. You must demonstrate capability in SQL and Oracle PL/SQL, specifically in writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning, along with experience in data migration, reporting, and backend system integration. An understanding of B2B workflows—including bulk ordering, tiered pricing, and account hierarchies—is crucial. Experience with retail operations such as inventory management, promotions, and customer segmentation, as well as familiarity with omnichannel strategies and digital transformation in retail, will be beneficial. A full UK driving license is required.
