Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a candidate who is proficient in advanced FileMaker development, including relational database design and scripting. You should have experience managing projects from initiation to completion and possess hands-on experience supporting Mac systems in business settings. A deep understanding of macOS, Linux, and Unix operating systems is essential, and familiarity with Jamf for Apple device management will be considered a valuable asset. Additionally, a foundational knowledge of JavaScript for front-end scripting would be advantageous, as well as a working understanding of network setups, cable management, patching, and Wi-Fi infrastructure.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will design, test, and deploy solutions within the FileMaker ecosystem while directing all stages of the software development lifecycle. You will collaborate with the accounts team to define enhancement requirements, manage the ticketing support system, and provide regular status updates. You will apply advanced programming techniques and implement data separation, integrate APIs (such as Google, HMRC, and banking platforms), optimize relational databases, configure FileMaker Server (FMS), and utilize the Monkey Bread plug-in suite. Additionally, you will adopt best practices to improve data retrieval speed and efficiency and maintain thorough documentation while producing clear user manuals for system updates and changes.
