Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 10 years of experience in financial services, including at least 5 years in programme delivery or regulatory transformation. You should have a proven track record in delivering major regulatory change across European Capital Markets, such as CSDR, EMIR Refit, SFTR, MiFID II, and Basel III. A strong understanding of post-trade operations, including trade capture, margining, settlement, and reporting, is essential. Additionally, experience working with global Operations and Technology teams is required. Excellent documentation, process mapping, and stakeholder management skills are necessary, and familiarity with market infrastructure, including CCPs, CSDs, custodians, and industry bodies such as ISDA, ICMA, and AFME, is advantageous.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will lead workstreams within large-scale regulatory programmes, ensuring delivery against milestones and governance standards. I will collaborate with stakeholders across Operations, Legal, Compliance, and Technology to define regulatory interpretations and process impacts. Our team will document detailed business and functional requirements, ensuring traceability through testing and implementation. I will coordinate test planning, execution, and business readiness for go-live, all while analysing data to assess regulatory impacts and benefits. It will be my responsibility to identify and resolve issues across Markets Operations and escalate risks with appropriate mitigation strategies. Additionally, I will communicate risks, status, and issues to senior stakeholders.

Although this role is a 9-month contract, there is a high possibility of extension. I would expect you to be in the office at least 3 days per week in Belfast.
