Requirements
Must:
We are looking for someone proficient in advanced FileMaker development, including relational database design and scripting. You should have skills in managing projects from initiation to completion and hands-on experience supporting Mac systems in business settings. A deep understanding of macOS, Linux, and Unix operating systems is essential. Familiarity with Jamf for Apple device management is a valuable asset. Foundational knowledge of JavaScript for front-end scripting is advantageous, as well as a working understanding of network setups, cable management, patching, and Wi-Fi infrastructure.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will design, test, and deploy solutions within the FileMaker ecosystem. You will direct all stages of the software development lifecycle and collaborate with the accounts team to define enhancement requirements. You will manage the ticketing support system and provide regular status updates. Additionally, you will apply advanced programming techniques and implement data separation, integrate APIs (such as Google, HMRC, and banking platforms), optimize relational databases, configure FileMaker Server, and utilize the Monkey Bread plug-in suite. It's important that you adopt best practices to improve data retrieval speed and efficiency, while maintaining thorough documentation and producing clear user manuals for system updates and changes.
