Senior Sourcing Specialist

I am looking for procurement professionals with experience in delivering the end-to-end procurement process, including developing tender packs and reviewing specifications. You should possess strong stakeholder management skills, enabling you to build productive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders in a procurement environment. Project management skills are essential, as you will need to manage multiple projects effectively. Additionally, you must be able to provide clear and concise procurement advice, demonstrating high-level analytical and problem-solving skills, along with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement is crucial. Experience in using e-sourcing tools is also required. Essential Criteria: - Experience in a procurement, commercial, or buying role. - Strong knowledge of writing contractual requirements and assessing specifications. - A proven track record of successfully delivering procurements on time and in line with business requirements. - Experience in preparing, reviewing, and agreeing contract terms and conditions. - Demonstrated experience working with the supplier market to deliver market engagement or negotiations. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels. - Ability to influence and build relationships both internally and externally. - Evidence of flexibility and adaptability in working across teams and managing competing priorities. - MCIPS/equivalent qualification, or significant relevant experience. Desirable Criteria: - Procurement experience in a public sector environment or regulated industry, such as working under the Procurement Regulations 2015. - Understanding of IT software and services.
