Requirements

Must:
- Extensive experience with Windows 10/11 OS and Microsoft 365 suite - Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows Server - Experience with hardware troubleshooting and maintenance - Proficiency in desktop imaging and deployment technologies - Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) - Familiarity with ITIL processes and ticketing systems - Excellent customer service and communication skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

As the Desktop Support Engineer, I will provide technical support for Windows-based systems, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure optimal performance of our desktop environment. I will work closely with the IT team to implement system upgrades, manage user accounts, and maintain security protocols.

Description

This contract position is located in the Exeter area and has a duration of up to 6 months, offering a daily rate of up to £250. Hybrid working is available, requiring 2 days on-site.
