We seek an experienced and technically competent Data Analyst who is eager to contribute their knowledge and skills to ensure all structures, systems, and components used to construct Hinkley Point C Power Station are captured in our Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) tool Asset Register, along with their key attributes. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to work with large amounts of data and draw logical conclusions. Required skills and qualifications include:
- Strong attention to detail when working with data to make accurate conclusions and predictions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively share findings with stakeholders.
- A solid understanding of data sources, data organization, and storage.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Knowledge of data manipulation techniques.
- Experience working with large data sets.
- Knowledge of Power BI.
- Previous experience with Asset Suite 9 or an equivalent EAM tool is a plus.
- Previous experience with the HPC project is an advantage.
- Previous experience in authoring process documents.
Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Data Clerk, I will be responsible for:
- Maintaining the accuracy of the Asset Register in the EAM tool.
- Providing legible and meaningful descriptions for the assets.
- Supporting the development of Equipment and Materials data to enable construction works.
- Using Power BI and other tools to extract information from various data sources.
- Organizing and transforming information into comprehensible structures within Excel worksheets.
- Populating data load sheets to submit to the System Administrator for loading into the EAM tool.
- Monitoring data quality and removing corrupt and inaccurate data.
- Communicating with stakeholders to understand data content and business requirements.
- Creating process documents for end users.

We offer flexible working with a pay rate of £210 per day, and this role is based in Bridgwater, TA5 1UD. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Data Clerk to join the Maintenance Team within our site Comm-Ops Directorate. As part of our expanding multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in planning and executing maintenance on equipment required to build, commission, and operate Hinkley Point C Power Station.
