Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience leading a high-performing engineering team.
- Experience integrating with Salesforce via real-time, batch, sync/async.
- Expertise in working with databases and database architecture, SQL, and Stored Procedures.
- Proven experience with data integration technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Apache Airflow, and Databricks AutoLoader.
- Ability to build CI/CD pipelines and implement infrastructure as code.
- Experience with event-driven data flows and message aggregators (e.g., Event Hub, Apache Kafka).
- Good understanding of current and emerging technologies and their potential to deliver business benefits.
- Hands-on experience working with data matching processes is highly desirable.
- Ability to translate business strategy into technical solutions and business requirements into technical design.
Responsibilities
- Lead by example in an agile engineering team, inspiring excellence, setting best practices, and ensuring correct designs and implementation.
- Take ownership of meeting delivery outcomes as per the product roadmap.
- Drive the design, development, and ongoing support of data integrations surrounding the strategic customer platform (Salesforce-based).
- Work in a DevOps operating model, leading the build and run of the data integrations, initially focusing on Azure Data Factory while building additional tooling to deliver real-time data integrations to support scaling the platform.
- Ensure accurate documentation, automation, and monitoring of data integrations in the digital platform.
- Act as a line manager and mentor for members of the development team.
- Promote continuous improvement within specific technology areas and across the IT department.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Lead Data Integration Engineer to join our Engineering team. You will play a crucial role in delivering our digital roadmap, developing our people and capabilities, and supporting our engineering strategy to drive improvements across all teams. You will work within a product-led operating model, collaborating with various resource types to streamline the process from idea to execution with minimal hand-offs. Our primary focus is building out a Single Digital Platform centered around Salesforce, which includes data integrations with legacy platforms and involves a significant .NET estate, as well as the use of Azure services and various frontend web applications.
