Must:
I am looking for candidates who possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. You should hold the AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator certification and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. A strong knowledge of infrastructure and security management is essential, along with experience working with Azure, AWS, Intune, and Manage Engine (specifically Endpoint Central and Applications Manager). Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are necessary, as well as proficiency in managing virtual machines, network devices, and security systems. You must be capable of handling complex technical issues and providing advanced support, alongside having strong analytical and reporting skills.
Responsibilities
As a 3rd Line Service Desk Engineer, you will be responsible for providing advanced technical support and managing the infrastructure and security requirements for our customers. Your key tasks will include maintaining and supporting Microsoft Infrastructure, ensuring compliance with Cyber Essentials through timely patching and monitoring, and overseeing endpoint management through tools like MDM/Intune and Apple Business Manager. You will also be required to develop PowerShell scripts to streamline operations and boost efficiency, ensure smooth backup operations, conduct regular recovery tests, and manage incident response. Additionally, you will proactively monitor and enhance infrastructure, participate in technical projects, engage in monthly client meetings, handle service desk tickets, diagnose issues, escalate when necessary, and contribute to the development of our knowledge base.
Description
This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing you to work between our Head Office in Cardiff, your home, and client sites (primarily in London). We are offering a competitive salary between £30,000 and £35,000, depending on experience, along with a range of excellent benefits.
