Must:
We are looking for candidates with strong technical expertise, ideally holding a degree in software, computing, electronics, control systems, or automotive engineering. It is essential that you have proven experience with Matlab/Simulink and Stateflow in complex embedded programming and debugging. You should also have knowledge or experience in vehicle, machine, or engine control systems. Familiarity with development processes for real-time control systems, including software version control systems, is necessary.
Preferred skills and experience include prior work in control software development, calibration data management, and knowledge of Data Links (CAN/Ethernet) and calibration/diagnostic tools. Experience with testing on dSpace and an understanding of Agile software development processes would be advantageous. You should be comfortable resolving technical issues and implementing solutions.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for developing real-time software to control the power systems at the heart of our industrial engines. Your primary tasks will include developing software functionality implemented in models using Matlab/Simulink. You will also develop test cases to enable feature testing on Hardware in the Loop (HIL) systems, as well as verify and validate engine control features as part of the development process. Troubleshooting and resolving electronics and control system issues encountered during the build and testing of engine software will be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will be involved in the integration, configuration, and compilation of subsystem software.
