Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a candidate who has at least two years of experience in an internal or external-facing helpdesk support team. You should have at least one year of hands-on experience with ticket management systems. A willingness to travel to client sites as needed for the role is essential. Additionally, you must have a valid Right to Work in the UK. A technical understanding of the following technologies is required:
- Microsoft Windows Server
- Microsoft Office 365 (Exchange Online, One Drive, etc.)
- Active Directory
- Anti-Virus, Anti-Malware & Anti-Spam Solutions
- Veeam Backup & Replication or other backup technologies
- Hardware Maintenance
- Patch Management Solutions
- Hyper-V, VMWare, and Azure
- Networking and advanced Routing or Switching and Security
- Experience with Clustering, Hyper-Converged Infrastructure, and Storage
Responsibilities
In this role, you will provide level 3 technical support to both internal and external stakeholders utilizing a ticket desk system. You will assist the Project Delivery, Commercial, and Business Solutions teams with pre-sales engagements, which may include carrying out on-site audits and health checks. Acting as a point of technical escalation within the Managed IT/Cloud department, you will support other team members. You will refer client requests for advice and consultation to the Business Solutions and Commercial teams as necessary. Collaboration with peers and other business areas will be essential to enhance internal product and service knowledge. You will also play a key role in developing the skillsets and capabilities of junior team members by sharing your knowledge and experience. Your tasks will include creating and updating technical documentation and acting as a subject matter expert in your field.
