Requirements

Must:
- Extensive Salesforce development experience (including Apex triggers, classes, asynchronous Apex, API integrations, Platform Events, LWCs, and Sites). - Experience using DevOps processes with Salesforce and a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle. - Experience mentoring other team members. - Understanding of when to use declarative capabilities versus developed solutions. - Experience with object-oriented programming languages. - Experience with web development languages, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, would be advantageous. - Experience with Salesforce Energy & Utilities Cloud (Vlocity) is desired but not essential. - Familiarity with working in an agile development environment and using tools such as Jira. - Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask. - Ability to work individually and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

- Help maintain and grow our Salesforce platform, which is used by our internal sales and service agents, customers through our mobile app and online account, and prospective customers looking to join us. - Lead a team of Salesforce admins/developers in delivering Salesforce changes. - Collaborate with the Salesforce Tech Lead to develop best practices, streamline throughput, and ensure consistent, high-quality output. - Provide technical input in discussions with management and stakeholders. - Work on new functionality, changes, and faults, including complicated tasks as appropriate. - Seek day-to-day opportunities to upskill and cross-train with peers.

Our Salesforce Developer role is primarily focused on delivering system changes and improvements while helping us leverage additional value from our Salesforce investment. Although this position can be remote, we may request occasional travel to Stroud for team activities. We are offering a salary of £55,000 - £70,000, along with a healthcare plan, life assurance, a generous pension contribution, a volunteering day, hybrid working options, and various company discounts.
