Must:
We are looking for a candidate with a strong technical background, having at least 3 years of experience in technology, risk management, governance, or audit (internal/external). You should possess a solid understanding of SOX and external audit processes. The ideal candidate will be skilled at analyzing complex situations, prioritizing effectively, and making commercial decisions. You must have a proven ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines without sacrificing quality. Strong relationship-building skills are essential, along with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior audit and technology management. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must, as is the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences. We seek a self-motivated individual with well-developed planning and presentation skills, along with expertise in reporting and process improvement to enhance operational efficiency. Comfort in working within cross-cultural and cross-functional environments is important.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will act as the primary liaison between external audit teams and technology departments, ensuring clear communication and timely fulfillment of audit requests. You will coordinate audit evidence collection, track external audit deficiencies, and manage the technology audit calendar to ensure readiness. You will review and validate audit responses and evidence for completeness and accuracy prior to submission. Supporting internal and external audit processes, you will facilitate walkthroughs, meetings, and technical discussions with stakeholders. You will run pre-audit checks, ensure remediation of identified issues, and assist technology teams in developing and executing effective action plans. Furthermore, you will provide guidance on responding to audit findings to ensure risk mitigation and control improvements. Lastly, you will identify opportunities to enhance audit efficiency, transparency, and effectiveness through process improvements and innovative tools such as data analytics and AI.
Description
This is a permanent position based in Central London, offering a hybrid work model with 3 days per week onsite and 2 days per week working from home. The salary ranges from £65k to £75k, complemented by a performance-based bonus and benefits package.
