Requirements
Must:
- I require a candidate with at least 6+ years of experience in the IT industry, particularly with Siebel.
- A solid understanding of Siebel 6 architecture and deployment methodologies is preferred.
- Proficiency in the software development life cycle and Siebel application support is essential.
- I expect you to have experience in developing solutions using Siebel configuration, EAI, EIM, and PLSQL.
- Strong collaborative skills are necessary to manage the Development and SIT environments.
- You should possess experience in supporting large-scale Siebel Enterprise installations and programming skills in various languages for developing customized tools.
- A capability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and supporting vendors is required.
- Troubleshooting integration-related issues will be part of your responsibilities, along with team management skills.
- You must support end-to-end testing and manage the migration of Siebel changes from Development to SIT.
- Understanding and providing performance tuning solutions for online and batch integrations is important.
- Candidates should have excellent Siebel skills, along with good knowledge of Siebel interfaces and PL/SQL.
- I need you to update Technical Design Documents and adhere to Release and Change Management Processes.
Responsibilities
- You will work in a Linux environment and have experience with Siebel configuration, Assignment Manager, EIM, Workflows, Business Services, and eScript.
- I expect you to have integration experience using EAI, VBC, web services, SOAP, etc.
- Strong knowledge of the Siebel Data Model, Databases, and Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle is desired.
- Knowledge and experience with Siebel Public Sector or any base application would be advantageous.
- You must have experience with at least one vertical application, such as banking or finance modules.
- Familiarity with integrating Siebel Out of the Box adapters, web services, VBC, EBC, and JMS queues is preferred.
- A thorough understanding of Siebel Schema and performance tuning is essential.
- I would like you to have good exposure in Siebel Development, including business modeling, requirement gathering, analysis, configuration, and integration for Siebel Enterprise.
- You should have complete exposure to each phase of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Proficiency with Siebel Tools and Client for configuration and customization of Siebel objects at multiple levels (Applets, Business Components, Screens, Views, Tables, Joins, Links, MVGs, Pick Lists, Toggle Applets, and Drilldowns) is expected.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary for both technical and client-facing situations.
Description
We are a global IT consultancy looking for a Siebel Developer with a requirement for travel to Liverpool initially for in-person handover from another Siebel developer. Subsequent travel will be occasional. This role is a hybrid position with a contract duration of 6 months.
