Requirements
Must:
- All candidates must possess an active and transferable HLC eDV (Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance.
- Candidates must be sole UK Nationals with a minimum of 10 years of unbroken residency.
- Proficiency in RedHat Linux 6 or 7 (Certification is not required).
- Experience in shell scripting within a Linux/UNIX environment.
- Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, S3, CloudWatch, etc.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and Terraform.
- Experience with storage systems, including managing server disks, file systems, and volume management software (e.g., LVM) along with an understanding of various RAID levels.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure, particularly with rack hardware and Dell servers (including BIOS, iDRAC, cabling, etc.).
Responsibilities
- As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be tasked with ensuring high availability and optimal performance of our infrastructure.
- You will create and manage shell scripts to automate processes in a Linux/UNIX environment.
- You will collaborate with our teams to leverage AWS services effectively.
- Your role will also involve managing and maintaining storage systems and infrastructure hardware.
