Requirements
Must:
We require candidates to have a minimum of 2 years of experience working with Cyber Essentials. You must be able to travel to Milton Keynes up to 3 times a week. Proven experience in cybersecurity assessments, particularly within the Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus frameworks, is essential. In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and industry standards is necessary, along with familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and vulnerability analysis techniques. Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, and effective communication skills are also required. While professional certifications like Cyber Essentials Assessor, Cyber Essentials Plus Assessor, CISSP, ISO 27001, or OSCP are desirable, they are not mandatory.
Responsibilities
As a Cyber Essentials/CE Plus Assessor, I will rely on you to manage our clients’ entire certification journey. This includes understanding their requirements and vulnerabilities, assessing compliance against the Cyber Essentials scheme, completing remote vulnerability scans, and conducting audits. You'll document assessment findings, provide guidance on implementing cybersecurity controls, and assist with action plans to address vulnerabilities. Staying updated with the latest cybersecurity trends is vital; I expect you to monitor regulatory changes and participate in professional development opportunities.
Description
This position is a 6-month contract that has the potential to lead to permanent employment. The salary range for this role, on a permanent basis, is £35,000 - £40,000, with an additional bonus structure. If you join our team, you'll be supported in further developing your skills in a rapidly evolving field, with potential pathways into IT Security, Penetration Testing, and Information Governance specializations.
