Must:
We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in information security. You should have proven hands-on experience with DevSecOps practices and tools, along with extensive experience in designing and securing complex IT infrastructures. Familiarity with cloud security architectures, particularly AWS, is essential. You should possess a deep understanding of security principles, protocols, and standards, as well as proficiency with DevOps and DevSecOps tools such as GitLab CI/CD, Ansible, and Terraform. Experience with security tools like SIEM/SOAR, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, and code analysis tools is also required. A strong knowledge of network security, encryption, identity and access management, and application security is necessary. Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalents for security architecture expertise, as well as certifications in cloud security or DevSecOps methodologies, are preferred.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will define security requirements and baseline standards for our systems and applications. You will evaluate and recommend security technologies, tools, and solutions to enhance our security posture while ensuring alignment of security strategies with business objectives and compliance mandates. You will integrate security practices into CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with development and operations teams to ensure secure coding practices and configurations. Additionally, you will design and oversee the implementation of secure infrastructure solutions, both on-premises and in the cloud, and be responsible for developing and enforcing security policies, standards, and guidelines. Establishing and maintaining incident response plans, leading technical response efforts during security incidents, and conducting post-incident analyses will also be part of your responsibilities. You will provide technical leadership and mentorship to security and DevOps teams, engage with stakeholders to communicate security strategies and risks effectively, and proactively identify opportunities to enhance security architecture and processes.

This position is fully remote with quarterly meet-ups and customer site visits. Our ideal candidate will bridge the gap between high-level security strategy and practical implementation, ensuring security is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle and aligned with compliance requirements and industry best practices.
