Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a strong candidate with multi-project experience in Data Engineering. Essential qualifications include:
- Strong experience in developing and automating scalable data pipelines, particularly within a finance-related context using a DataOps/DevOps mindset.
- A solid foundation in data engineering practices including automation, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and monitoring systems to ensure scalable and reliable data workflows.
- Professional experience with AWS data tools like S3, Glue, Redshift, and SageMaker.
- Familiarity with containerization tools (e.g., Docker, EC2), orchestration in enterprise environments (e.g., Airflow), infrastructure automation (e.g., Terraform), CI/CD platforms (e.g., GitHub Actions), and management of passwords/secrets (e.g., HashiCorp Vault).
- Strong programming skills related to data, including SQL, Python, Spark, and Scala.
- Experience with database technologies relevant to data warehousing, data lakes, and lake house patterns.
- Relevant experience in handling both structured and non-structured data, along with data modeling techniques and tools.
- Quality assurance and test automation experience in a data pipeline context.
Responsibilities
As a Data Engineer - DataOps, you will support our Senior Data Engineer by enabling the Data Engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions through automation and best practices in CI/CD. This role includes:
- Designing, developing, and testing high-quality data solutions in collaboration with domain-oriented, multidisciplinary data product teams.
- Streamlining processes and mentoring team members.
- Reviewing technical work and supporting third-party delivery to ensure reliability.
- Providing occasional out-of-hours support for our data solutions.
- Contributing to a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement.
