Requirements
Must:
We require a proven professional with experience in managing or administering Workday systems, ideally with hands-on experience in UKG Time and Attendance. A strong understanding of timekeeping rules, scheduling logic, and compliance requirements is essential. You should possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, along with experience in working with third-party providers, managed services, and vendor coordination. A solid understanding of HR operations and processes is also necessary.
Responsibilities
In this pivotal role, I will serve as the internal subject matter expert for Workday and its integrations. I will configure and maintain various Workday modules, including HCM, Payroll, Recruiting, and Financials. My responsibilities include managing business processes, security roles, integrations, and reporting, as well as monitoring system performance to ensure data integrity. Overseeing the configuration and validation of time rules, pay rules, shift differentials, and holiday calendars will also fall under my purview. Additionally, I will support complex scheduling scenarios, conduct regular audits and reconciliations between UKG and Workday, and troubleshoot any timecard issues or integration errors. Training HR, managers, and employees on system functionality and self-service tools is a key aspect of my role, as is developing and maintaining user guides and training materials. I will gather business requirements to implement system changes and participate in release testing and deployment for both Workday and UKG. Additionally, I will coordinate enhancements and configuration updates with the UKG managed service provider, manage user roles and access controls across systems, and ensure compliance with GDPR, Working Time Directive, and internal audit requirements. Supporting and monitoring integrations between Workday, UKG, and other enterprise systems, as well as developing and maintaining reports and dashboards for workforce analytics, are also critical responsibilities.

Initially, 4 days a week will be spent onsite, with a reduction to 3 days once I have passed the probationary period. The expected salary range for this position is between £70,000 and £80,000 per annum.
