Requirements
Must:
- I have proven experience as a Workday Consultant or Systems Administrator.
- I possess a deep understanding of Workday configuration, including templates, workflows, and reporting.
- Ideally, I have experience supporting Workday in environments involving M&A, particularly in onboarding new businesses.
- I have a solid grasp of HR processes and how they map to systems.
- I demonstrate excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- I have the ability to work independently and strategically within an extremely fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- I will lead the day-to-day administration, optimization, and continuous improvement of Workday.
- I will configure Workday templates, modules, business processes, reports, and workflows.
- I will support M&A activities by onboarding new groups of employees into Workday.
- I will gather and analyze requirements, collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into functional specifications.
- I will work closely with HR and IT stakeholders to define requirements and deliver appropriate solutions.
- I will ensure data accuracy and integrity across systems and integrations, such as Payroll and ERP.
- I will provide training and support to HR end users and stakeholders.
- I will maintain strong vendor relationships and oversee third-party integrations.
- I will ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.
Description
We are a well-established and rapidly expanding organization, with 8-10 acquisitions likely to complete this year alone. We are undergoing a major HR systems transformation and are seeking an experienced Workday Functional Consultant/Systems Administrator. This is a critical position within our company's digital transformation and M&A strategy, focusing on the ongoing optimization and development of Workday. This contract offers the opportunity to play a key role in configuring modules, workflows, business processes, reports, and integrations, as well as onboarding multiple newly acquired businesses onto the Workday platform. This position is based in London, offering 4 days per week on-site and 1 day of work from home, with a salary range of £65,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience.
