Must:
We are looking for a candidate who has 5 years of experience in mobile app development, particularly with significant hands-on expertise in React Native. A strong knowledge of iOS and Android platform fundamentals is essential, along with a solid understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices in mobile app design. Familiarity with Redux, RESTful APIs, and relational databases (MSSQL), as well as version control tools such as GitHub, is important. You should also have experience with automated testing frameworks like Mocha or Jest, and possess a strong understanding of clean code practices, domain-driven design, and modern architecture principles. Experience with Scrum delivery frameworks and Agile environments is preferred. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills are a must. A passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences is essential. You should be comfortable working in a hybrid model, being onsite in Central London for 2-3 days a week.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will take ownership of mobile app design, development, and optimization using React Native. You will drive the delivery of a high-performance, scalable mobile app with an outstanding user experience. Your responsibilities will include translating UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, reusable React Native code, optimizing app components for performance and responsiveness, and developing scalable, maintainable front-end architecture with reusable components and libraries. You will integrate native modules and third-party APIs as needed and manage end-to-end mobile app release processes for the App Store and Google Play. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key to delivering technical solutions aligned with business objectives. Additionally, you will conduct code reviews, debugging, and participate in design forums, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Close work with security, operations, and compliance teams will also be required to meet regulatory and security standards.
