Cyber Security Engineer

In the Cyber Security Engineer role, my hands-on responsibilities will include the implementation and maintenance of our on-premise and cloud-related infrastructure and technologies. My primary focus will be on the integration between cloud and on-prem security infrastructure. Responsibilities will also expand into other technical information security projects, providing opportunities for cross-training and upskilling in additional leading technologies. Key accountabilities include: - Providing technical design, implementation, and maintenance of our technical security infrastructure and policies. - Developing technical solutions and new security toolsets to mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks. - Building, implementing, and tuning SIEM event correlation rules, logic, and content. - Constructing, implementing, and tuning Web content protection rules and logic. - Collaborating with the Security Monitoring team to defend the enterprise according to established policies and procedures. - Preparing and documenting standard operating procedures and protocols. - Working with the Threat Intelligence and Cyber Assurance teams to monitor industry information sources for zero-day threats and vulnerabilities that impact the company. - Establishing and maintaining strong, collaborative working relationships with global and regional technology infrastructure, application, and architecture teams.
