Requirements
Must:
- I am looking for candidates who live within a commutable distance of central Leeds.
- You must have high proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with testing frameworks and tools is essential.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools is required.
- Familiarity with security tools and practices is necessary.
- You should have experience with defining and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Experience with data scraping, modeling, and security is also desirable.
Responsibilities
- As a Staff Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of our platform and application services.
- You will ensure that our services meet the highest standards of quality, security, and performance.
- This is a hands-on role, requiring a strong grasp of JavaScript/TypeScript.
- You will collaborate within a cross-cutting technical pod, supported by dedicated UI/UX, PMO, and DevOps roles.
Description
Our company is at the forefront of leveraging cutting-edge technology, including AR, VR, AI, and 3D rendering, to redefine our sector. Founded three years ago, we are fully funded and have secured a major organization as our majority shareholder. We have developed a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform, which is currently at the MVP stage and is beginning to operationalize and commercialize, having gained enterprise 'proof of concept' contracts with two of the largest energy companies. With significant growth potential, we are excited to find a versatile and skilled Staff Software Engineer (JS) to join our Leeds team. Initially, the role will be based full-time in our amazing offices in Leeds, with some scope for hybrid work after the first three months.
